Job Posting: Human Resources Manager

Summary

The Human Resources Manager is a key staff member responsible for the management of the PDI Solutions, LLC (PDI) human resources department and its policies, programs and practices and for supporting the activities of the Director of HR at the corporate level. This role plays a key part in the collaboration of administrative, and operational groups at GATE. This position is accountable for PDI Solutions human resource service delivery and employee human resources compliance within operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage human resource operations including recruiting, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff
  • Implement GATE human resource strategic development actions at PDI
  • Provide human resource advice and counsel for PDI employees and management 
  • Maintain HR department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, benefits, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations
  • Manage all HR-related PDI administrative and compliance activities
  • Support, comply with, and participate in the PDI HSSE program
  • Oversee the internal training program for PDI staff
  • Ensure effective liaison between administrative and operational functions at PDI
  • Ensure PDI compliance regarding federal regulations (AA/EEO/FLSA, etc.)
  • Work closely with Payroll to ensure that all employees are paid properly, and benefit deductions are correct
  • Maintain compliance with GATE and PDI recruitment and retention targets
  • Develop HR strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues
  • PDI Affordable Care Act reporting
  • PDI Benefit plan audit preparation and reporting
  • Input, maintain and reconcile Employee Benefits within the HRIS and Provider systems.
  • Contribute information, analyze, and make recommendations to enhance Company strategic thinking and direction
  • Ensure human resource objectives are in line with Company objectives
  • Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing Company values
  • Responsible for adhering to GATE and PDI policies and procedures in a positive manner
  • Proactively work to create positive and professional culture within PDI
  • Have awareness of GATE/PDI quality and safety management processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements - Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years related human resources management experience preferred
  • Professional human resources certification preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of employment law required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the Company
